About The Nervana

The Nervana was created as a safe and supportive space for nervous system healing, emotional release, and deep personal reconnection.


Rooted in clinical understanding and guided by compassion, each session blends 9D Breathwork with somatic awareness, sound, intention, and trauma-informed care.

Our approach bridges science and self — offering transformation without the overwhelm, spirituality without the fluff, and a grounded path back to yourself.

About Pearl

Hi, I’m Pearl Patangata Mahajan — a registered nurse specialising in mental health and addictions, and a certified 9D Breathwork facilitator.

I began my nursing career in 2018 and have spent most of my work supporting adults through acute mental health, community wellness, and rehabilitation. I’ve walked alongside new mothers through Plunket care, completed elderly assessments, and supported people facing homelessness, trauma, addiction, and some of the most challenging moments of their lives.

Across every setting, one truth became clear:
healing begins when a person finally feels safe enough to breathe.

My own journey brought me face-to-face with that truth.


After years of burnout, chronic pain, PTSD, depression, and medication, I reached a point where I knew something had to change. I stepped back from nursing to support my children’s mental health — and in doing so, had to face my own.

I applied everything I knew as a nurse to my personal healing, but this time, I added breath.

That’s when I discovered 9D Breathwork.
My husband and I travelled to Bali to meet the founders and immerse ourselves in four days of deep 9D sessions. What I experienced was beyond words — a level of peace, clarity, and freedom I hadn’t felt in years. I returned home off medication, free from chronic pain, and finally myself again.

That’s where The Nervana was born:
a safe, nurse-led space where people can regulate their nervous system, release what’s been carried for too long, and reconnect to their true self.

My approach blends the science of the body with the spirit of healing — trauma-informed, evidence-based, and guided by deep compassion. Every session is created with safety, care, and your nervous system in mind.
